Training Materials

Are you interested in training researchers to engage in policy at your university, scientific society, or with a student science policy group? We have developed a set of materials to conduct 5 hours of training, delivered across a series of three sessions. The first two sessions are 2 hours, followed by a 1-hour discussion with invited policymakers of your choosing.

The training explores how researchers can successfully bridge the gap between research evidence and policymaking. Across the three engaging sessions, participants will learn how evidence is used in policy, to decide whom to engage and how, to clearly communicate complex science and uncertainty, and strategically deliver evidence that decision-makers need. The training emphasizes interactive learning through real-world case studies and practical exercises, enabling participants to directly apply these skills.
